Baby feet being held by parent's hands

“Thank you so much for being there to welcome our second child. My only wish was that I had you for our first! My partner Josh was also so grateful to have you throughout our pregnancy, labour and post partum period just as much as I was and he felt truly supported by you.”

“The support and tools provided to us in sessions in order to help us labour at home for as long as possible made our labour so positive. The way my partner and I worked together during labour prior to Amber arriving made me feel so proud of us and I truly look back and enjoy the labour I had with the knowledge and equipment given to us from Amber - thank you.

As someone with trauma and fear around hospitals Amber made sure I felt seen and supported me throughout, especially breathing through, which really helped to ground me and stop me from spiralling over and over. Amber went above and beyond for us and nothing was ever too much trouble for her. Appointments were arranged around our family needs and we are so grateful to have had Amber on our journey with us.

A doula is a necessity and Amber is truly amazing. Amber is kind, thoughtful, calm and so knowledgeable. Her presence during labour helped both my partner and I especially when things did not go to plan. Amber is happy to answer any question, no matter how big or small and will also provide evidence based answers and readings, and supported my decisions reassuring me and reminding me about choices and options I have, in a non-judgemental and such a supportive way which I found amazing. I would absolutely recommend Amber to anyone thinking about having a doula.”

“Amber was my birth and postpartum doula and she was wonderful. So calm and supportive, kind and gentle in everything she did. Her knowledge around all things birthing and babies was fantastic and if she didn’t know something, she found the resources to share with me. After my little man decided he was ready to be earth side at 36+6, Amber was all ready on call and at the hospital quickly.

With an unplanned C-section happening (breech baby) and family that weren’t in the country just yet, she stayed by my side and kept me calm even when I started to loose myself.

In theatre she helped me with breathing exercises to calm down, constantly advocated for me (as I wasn’t able to myself) and then stayed by my side in recovery. She made sure we were all okay and settled into our room before leaving and then returned early the following day.

Amber made sure I felt supported through out my entire hospital stay and then once I arrived home she gave me space to share those first few weeks with family, but was ready to step back in once they went home.

Having a doula for my fourth trimester was a godsend. As a first time mum I constantly doubted myself and was very deep in the postpartum trenches, but knowing Amber was coming over a couple of days a week helped me get through.

She bought with her the most delicious home made meals and snacks whenever she came over and was there for everything I needed. Help with baby, washing, general tidying of the house and most of all she was a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on. Everything you need help with when you are nap trapped most days or just exhausted.

If you were looking for a sign to have a birth/postpartum doula who is non judgmental, kind and knowledgeable, then this is it. Amber is one of the best investments you will ever make.”

“Amber was honestly a blessing that the universe aligned me with. After weeks of searching for a doula, the universe presented me with her – and I am so grateful it did. After experiencing an extremely traumatic first birth, followed by post-partum complications and undiagnosed PND/PNA, I knew I needed a supportive presence by my side – someone who could be my pregnancy and birthing cheerleader. Amber was truly this person for me. She provided endless resources, information, love, encouragement, and reassurance.

Through our appointments – from birth mapping, massage, OMP, and birth preparations – she helped me prepare my mind, body, and spirit. Amber not only supported me and my partner in getting ready for whatever birth could bring, but most importantly, she empowered my mindset to face the unknown and begin healing from my past birth trauma.

Birth with Amber was AAAAMAZING! My only regret was not having her there from the very beginning of my labour. Even still, she gave me the tools beforehand to work through challenges with confidence. My second birth was everything I needed it to be: healing, empowering, and transformational. Despite my labour being very quick, Amber was there in those final, intense hours – guiding me through the last hurdle so I could achieve the physiological hospital birth I hoped for. Having her there afterwards, holding space for us as a new family, was such a gift.

I didn’t engage Amber straight away in my postpartum journey; I reached out at about 3.5 months. Yet even before then, she checked in and held space for me during those tough, emotional postpartum days. Looking back, a part of me wishes I’d asked her to be more hands-on sooner – but in truth, for my journey, her presence came at the exact time I needed it most. If I ever decide to have another baby, Amber would be the very first person I call. She was such an incredible impact on my journey, and I cannot recommend her enough.”

“This was my 4th birth and my main reason for wanting a doula was that I had previously had 'good' births but I wanted to be able to feel fully present for this birth and not lose myself into fear in the transition phase like I had previously.

As an autistic adult I didn't want someone else physically in my space for the birth so having a virtual doula seemed like a good solution to have some support without being overwhelmed. I had also hoped to find a doula who could understand and support my neurodivergent needs over the perinatal period.

Well Amber gave me all that and more! I felt truly held every step of the way during pregnancy, on the birthing day and postpartum.

When things got hard with a sudden change of plans for birthing space in the last few weeks, she was there to help, guide and advocate for me in every way I needed. I have never been good at asking for help, but Amber made me feel so comfortable, and she always seemed to know how to quietly prompt me to make it easier to access the support I needed.

I had the most amazingly wonderful labour and birth. I was able to follow my sensory needs which allowed me to be fully present and relaxed for the whole birth. That birth has led to the most wonderful postpartum period and feeling of bonding with my baby. I have no doubt it would have gone somewhat differently had it not been for having Amber's beautiful support.

Amber is a true blessing and I am so very grateful to have been lucky enough to have her in this period of my life! Thank you x”

“Where do I start!

When I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd child I knew I wanted to do things differently this time. With my first I didn't feel very supported and it ended in a c-section. I decided to look for a Doula to help me achieve my dream to have a VBAC and I found Amber! She was recommended along side many others on a mother's group, but I went by vibe and chose amber - honestly having Amber there as support was everything and more than I expected -I don't know how I would have gotten through my long labour without her... her calm, her knowledge, her warmth & her amazingly helpful techniques to help with the process. Everything I needed to know she found sources of information. I felt so supported Emotionally & mentally which is what I was looking for. I loved that she documented my labour and birth for me to recall after, I also love that she took photos for me, precious memories I can keep forever!

To have Amber there through the entire journey plus postpartum care made things feel so much easier, you don't realise what a treasure simply being able to shower is, until you have a baby & just having her there to help, bring food etc was amazing!- I'm so grateful for such a beautiful soul offering her support to women! She is definitely doing what she was born to do.

Thank you Amber for everything xxx”

“The transition into motherhood was epically hard for me due to the type of birth I had. Having someone to talk to and see regularly that had knowledge and patience was the support I needed. Amber is the most calming, non judgmental and extremely knowledgeable person. The care she provides is dedicated to you and your baby’s needs. I felt well taken care of and that I had a safe place/person that would help me through whatever I was feeling with genuine actions and solutions. Amber helped me through the daunting feeling of motherhood and supported me so I could be at my best.”

“I found the knowledge I gained from Amber the most helpful. As a first time mum, learning and applying what I learned has given me so much confidence. Having a little me time and having home cooked meals was a big added benefit, too. Amber is amazing with bub and a good listener. I felt safe and I also learned heaps!”

“Amber was absolutely amazing and the best support person I had during my pregnancy and postpartum journey. While I struggled massively during my first few weeks postpartum Amber was always there at the end of a video call or message with either reassurance or facts from trusted research or other members of her doula community. No matter the time of day, she was there. She helped me feel better and supported me to remember my true values about my baby and my journey. I was so lucky to have Amber by my side through this amazing and also tough but beautiful journey as she was my number 1 support.”
